RxCare - All You Need to Do Is Take Your Medications-
We Take Care of Getting Payment for Them.

Q: Who needs RxCare?
A:
You do. If you're paying for prescriptions and waiting for reimbursement from your insurance company, you will no longer have to do that. With RxCare, the pharmacy and insurance company work together to take the burden off the patient after any insurance deductibles and co-pays are satisfied.

Q: How does RxCare work?
A:
RxCare is managed by Ganse Apothecary. We bill your insurance company directly and receive payment on your behalf. It's like a charge account but without the bills. What could be easier?

Q: How can I qualify for RxCare?
A:
Call our RxCare Specialist, who will collect basic information from you. We'll get all other necessary information from your insurance carrier such as where to send the bills and what we need to send. We then get an "assignment signature" from you to authorize RxCare to begin.

Q: Are insurance forms necessary?
A:
Yes. We may ask you to provide us with 12 signed insurance forms each year. We'll keep them on hand to use each month.

Q: What if my policy is "non-assignable?"
A:
Even if your insurance company will not pay Ganse Apothecary directly, we'll still be happy to bill your insurance for you. When you receive a check from the insurance company, simply endorse it and mail it to us along with the explanation of medical benefits the insurance company provides.

Q: What drugs are covered under RxCare?
A:
All prescription drugs, diabetic supplies, nutritional supplements, and medical supplies covered by your insurance company are covered in the RxCare Program.

Q: Is there ever a charge to the patient?
A:
No. There is no membership fee for RxCare. There are no service fees to fill prescriptions. And, because you've already met your annual deductible and maximum out-of-pocket expenses to qualify for RxCare, the patient never pays a penny for prescriptions.

Q: What if I switch insurance companies?
A:
It is important to inform RxCare right away of any change whatsoever in your insurance coverage-insurance company, group number, insurance company address, anything. Otherwise, the RxCare Program simply cannot work.

Q: How can I get started in the RxCare Program?
A:
Call Ganse Apothecary at 717-394-5671 and ask for the RxCare Specialist. We'll get things moving for you right away.
